Subject	Rear tires hitting fender well?

Message	So I have noticed a "banging, crunching" type noise over hard dips in the road. I run SPL coilovers, lowered the car to about a 1" whell gap. Wheels are 18x9.5 +41, with 265 40 18 tires. It looks like maybe the fender lip is hitting the tire because the tires have slight marks on them.... Lips are unrolled. Any ideas? Would this sizing possibly cause hitting, banging?
